Filip Marek was born in 1990 in Prague. He start shooting movies at his 13 with his classmate Jan Strejcovský. After finnishing high school he start study camera at International Film Studies in Písek, Czech Republic and after two years he start study camera at FAMU, Prague. Beside shooting short films he works on video clips, trailers and advertising spots. He was awarded in 2013 by  Panavision Young Cinematographer Award. His last piece was a czech video clip for band Deaths and it had premiere at nowness.com. Currently he finished bachelors degree at FAMU, Prague.
